Everyone is having problems with browsers and Form Simplicity. The solution is rather simple. Google Chrome has a pdf viewer built in that does not parse editable fields. Which means you can not view a pdf in chrome that has fields you can type in. You can however view the forms in HTML 5. Form Simplicity supports HTML 5 forms. It’s a tab directly above the pdf viewer.
The tab says mobile. Every mobile device can parse HTML 5; however, older browsers will not be able to use this mode.
If you want to enable Form Simplicity with Google Chrome PDF editor, you can disable the Chrome PDF viewer. Form Simplicity provides a video on vimeo for doing this. It’s very simple. Remember to check the “always allow” option when following the instructions. If you do not, your browser will reset your changes.
